Having a pet dog is a joy, but also a big responsibility. One of the most important steps in taking care of your beloved dog is to give it a complete and timely vaccination. Vaccinations not only protect your dog from various dangerous diseases, but also prevent the transmission of diseases to other dogs and even humans.

Why are Dog Vaccinations Important?

Just like humans, dogs need vaccinations to build a strong immune system. Vaccinations help protect dogs from potentially fatal diseases, improve their quality of life, and extend their lifespan. With the right vaccinations, you are providing the best protection for your beloved dog.

Types of Dog Vaccinations

In general, dog vaccines fall into two categories: core and non-core.

  • Core Vaccines: Vaccines that are essential and recommended for all dogs, without exception.
  • Non-core Vaccines: Vaccines given based on the dog’s disease exposure risk and lifestyle.
